Changelog

Every data, rule, and feature release, with its dataset and rule-engine versions. Times are UTC. Only real changes are listed.

Feature: Team analysis and workflow updates

Sep 10, 2026 · dataset v2026.09.09.1 · rule engine 2.1.0

  • Now available: Role Analysis, searchable Pokémon picker, device-only Saved Teams, privacy-bounded share links, working task tools, and manifest-driven SEO
  • Regulation M-C legality now uses the official September 9 rules and 262-entry / 231-national-number roster authority
  • Picker dialogs return keyboard focus to the exact opener after Escape or Close

Known limitations: Threat Analysis, Meta Data, and Explainable Fixes remain unavailable/deferred until non-empty same-hash data receives research and compliance approval.

Feature: Home page

Sep 9, 2026 · dataset v2026.09.03.1 · rule engine 2.0.0

  • Header and browser icons now share one crisp Poké Ball brand mark
  • Home Hero now uses a denser 46:54 tool-entry layout with a dedicated mobile composition
  • No-account and local-save assurances now sit beside the Hero actions instead of in a separate full-width strip

Feature: Site-wide

Sep 4, 2026 · dataset v2026.09.03.1 · rule engine 2.0.0

  • Regulation M-B/M-C selector with time-window status
  • Versioned Regulation, coverage, source, and known-limit disclosures on the Data Sources page
  • Compact builder workbench with autosave status
  • Roster, duplicate-item, move-pool, and ability-membership legality checks (Legality MVP)
  • Changelog and Data Sources pages
  • Home page rebuilt around an operable mini builder and one-click example team
  • Showdown import now previews slot-level results before replacing a team
  • Coverage shows a not-ready state instead of a fabricated gap count when moves are missing
  • Coverage no longer reports fake gap counts for slots without selected moves

Known limitations: At this release, M-C clause details (held items, species clause, timers) were not yet included in the loaded record and displayed as Unknown; Meta usage rankings are not published without a verified source record.

Data: Regulation M-C dataset snapshot

Sep 3, 2026 · dataset v2026.09.03.1 · rule engine 2.0.0

  • Initial Regulation M-C dataset snapshot (315 forms / 210 species): M-A/M-B carryover pool plus Rillaboom, Baxcalibur, and the newly allowed Mega Absol Z, Mega Lucario Z, and Mega Garchomp Z

Known limitations: This September 3 snapshot was superseded by the official September 9 M-C rules and eligible list and no longer drives current public legality; Ability data for the three Mega Z forms was a source gap in this historical snapshot.

Regulation: Regulation M-B

Aug 5, 2026 · dataset v2026.07.31.1 · rule engine 1.0.0

  • Official notice extended Regulation M-B to September 9, 2026 01:59 UTC (previously planned to end September 2)

Data: Regulation M-B

Jul 31, 2026 · dataset v2026.07.31.1 · rule engine 1.0.0

  • Regulation M-B dataset (310 forms / 208 species) with types, base stats, abilities, move pools, and the item catalog
  • Official form-level eligible roster (235 entries) mapped from the official M-B eligible list

Known limitations: Ability effects, regulation-level move/item legality, and team clauses beyond the duplicate-item rule were not covered.
