Pokémon Team Weakness Calculator

A Pokémon team weakness calculator compares every team member against the type chart, then highlights shared defensive risks. A repeated weakness means multiple team members take increased damage from the same attacking type; an immunity is shown separately from a resistance.

How it works and what it does not cover

Add or paste up to six team members, confirm the displayed Regulation and data version, compare each member against the type chart, and review repeated weaknesses, resistances, and immunities. Ability effects, items, weather, terrain, and battle-state modifiers are not automated.

Regulation: Champions Reg M-B · Data version: PokéBase v3 (pokebase-v3) · Built/updated: 2026-07-31 · Coverage: roster, types, base stats, selected moves, and visible data limits.

Frequently asked questions

How are dual-type weaknesses calculated?

The two defensive types are combined using the standard type chart, producing multipliers such as ×4, ×2, ×1, ×½, ×¼, or ×0 where supported.

Is an immunity the same as a resistance?

No. A resistance reduces type damage, while an immunity produces a ×0 result. The audit displays immunities separately so they are not counted as ordinary resistances.

Does the calculator include abilities?

The first version can mark supported type-immunity abilities, such as a supported Ground immunity. It does not recursively model every ability, item, weather, terrain, or battle-state interaction.
